Guidelines for Parents / Guardians

  1. Check the haircut, uniform, nails, school shoes, school ID, Almanac(school diary) and punctuality of your ward in the morning.
  2. See that your ward carries book/exercise books according to the time table for that day. No extra books are allowed.
  3. Encourage your ward to take a balanced interest in studies, co-curricular activities and sports.
  4. Restrict daily pocket money between Rs. 5/- and Rs. 10/- per day. Excessive spending should be discouraged.
  5. Children should not bring crackers, colours, mobiles etc. to the school. Bursting of crackers and playing with colours is liable to lead to expulsion of a student from the school.
  6. During School hours no student will be allowed to go home without the written permission of the Principal.
  7. Your ward should be instructed to be careful about his/her things. There should be a name tag on blazers and sweaters. Expensive articles like Mobiles, Calculators etc. should not be brought to school. They are also not allowed to wear Jewellery in school. In case of violation of this rule the articles will be confiscated and will be returned to the parents only after the end of session. The school bears no responsibility for articles lost in school. In case of loss, a letter giving details of the loss may be sent to the class teacher. Articles found are to be handed over to the class teacher.
  8. If your word is absent from school, he must make up all the work missed by him.
  9. Ensure that children do not carry fancy & expensive stationery items.
  10. All parents are requested to impart health Education to their children so that they –
  • (a) Maintain personal hygiene like : trimming of nails and being neat on a regular basis.
  • (b) Students should exercise regularly.
  • (c) Sleep for at least eight hours daily.
  • (d) Have a balanced diet, nutritionally rich in proteins and milk.
  • (e) Drink water which is either boiled or filtered. All students are advised to bring their own water bottles from home.
  • (f) Avoid Consumption of ice-creams, other milk products and eatables from road side vendors.
  • (g) De worm your child every year. Advice to be taken from your family Physician.
  • (h) Get dental and eye check up done once in every year by a dental surgeon and eye surgeon.
  • (i) Parents should immunize their children as per doctor’s guidance.

11. Students suffering from disease such as Chicken Pox, Cholera, Measles, Mumps, Whooping cough and Jaundice must observe the prescribed period of quarantine as mentioned under the heading , ‘Absence’ in the Almanac.

12. Students suffering from infectious diseases like Conjunctivitis, Dermatitis, Scabies etc. should not be sent to school.

13. Students suffering from chronic diseases like Asthma, Epilepsy, Rheumatic Heart Disease etc. are advised to be under continuous medical supervision of a specialized doctor. History of the illness must be filled up in the Almanac along with the treatment being given.

14. School transport is optional facility provided by school for the convenience of the parents and in no way can be held responsible for any mishappening or otherwise.
