Great stories happen to them who can tell them.

Story telling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world and believing in this a  story telling session was organised for the students of Pre – Primary – VIII. The session was conducted by Mrs. Saba Mirza , Education consultant ,who introduced various storytelling techniques to the students.The session was an interesting way to engage the students, and helped to develop their reading and comprehensive skills.The session was highly informative, engaging and entertaining for all the students.

BLUE COLOUR DAY AT S.E.I (DEC-2023)

Children of Pre Primary section celebrated Blue Colour Day.BLUE is a cool and calming color that shows creativity and intelligence.
The dress code of the day was blue. All the children dressed up in different shades and hues of blue. The classrooms were decorated with blue balloons and umpteen blue objects. It was an amazing learning experience which had a long-lasting effect on every student.Children enjoyed the activities with immense enthusiasm and zeal.

GREEN COLOUR DAY AT S.E.I (OCT-2023)

“Green is the color of natural world.”

To emphasize its importance “Green Color Day” was celebrated at SEI on October 27,2023 by the students of Pre-primary wing. Little angels came dressed in green attires and carried their favourite Green objects.Facilitators of pre-primary explained them the importance of Green color.

KRISHNA JAMASHTAMI CELEBRATION AT SEI (SEPTEMBER-2023)

Janmashtami is the celebration of the birth of our very own and most auspicious Lord Krishna. To make this day important and memorable students of Pre-Primary celebrated Janmashtami with lots of fun,activities , and dance. Children came dressed as Krishna and Radha . Teachers have told them the importance of this day by showing the story . In the last they enjoyed dancing to the dance of the songs of Krishna.

RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION AT SEI (August-2023)

Rakhi is bond of love, A bond of togetherness , It’s a thread that binds our lives and our hearts.

Raksha Bandhan celebrations were held on August 30,2023 children participated in this special tradition by tying the sacred thread on the boys’ wrist, and they gave them chocolates. Through crafts and activities, children understood the essence of love and togetherness. All the students enjoyed it very much.

Engaging Minds and Testing Knowledge:

QUIZ is an interesting method to acquire new knowledge and test previous ones in a short span of time.An exciting intellectual showdown took place on 21st August 2023.The competition took place in three categories: sub-junior , junior and senior.
The quiz featured an array of categories, each designed to challenge participants expertise across different fields. While winners emerged from the competition, every student who took the stage displayed courage and determination.

MASK MAKING ACTIVITY AT SEI (JULY-2023)

“Creativity is a wild mind with a disciplined eye”.

It has always been an endeavour to impart knowledge through joyful activities. Keeping the same in mind, a ‘Mask Making Activity’ was organised for the students of Pre-Primary on July 21,2023. The little ones came up with amazing artwork. The activity was organised to explore and encourage creativity in children. The children were very happy in making and wearing the masks.

YELLOW COLOUR DAY AT SEI (JULY-2023)

“Shades of yellow stimulate our little ones with happiness, energy and optimism…….”

With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of the yellow colour, the Pre-Primary wing celebrated “Yellow Colour Day” on 7th July 2023.

A day dedicated to the yellow colour was marked with children dressed in different hues and tints of yellow. Children were not only beautifully dressed in their favourite yellow dresses but also brought yellow objects to make it a complete “Yellow Day”.

The motive of celebrating this Yellow Colour Day was to make the children aware of the yellow colour, and its significance and to develop fine motor skills in the students.

Various colourful activities including drawing, colouring, origami, paper craft etc. were conducted in a lively, vibrant and high-spirited environment. They spent the day with utmost enjoyment.

PYJAMA PARTY AT SEI (JULY-2023)

Our SEI champs look angelic and divine with their sweetest and most colourful expressions. It’s an amazing amalgamation of most colourful expressions. It is an amazing amalgamation of colourful pajamas,mushy pillows, and soft toys during the “Pajama Party” held on 31/07/23 at SEI. Maple hall was transformed into a heaven of moon and stars. It was truly mesmerizing to see the litte tots energetic and cheerful.

WITTICISM / STAND UP COMEDY COMPETITION (JULY-2023)

A sense of humour is an important part of life.

On 24th -25th July 2023 an Inter-house Stand -up Comedy competition was organizes for senior and Junior students.The expressions, voice modulation, wit and humour, overall delivery and content, all showed a high level of preparation. The audience couldn’t stop laughing while watching these comedians in the making.

HINDI SOLO SINGING COMPETITION (May-2023)

Music binds our soul, heart and emotions. Music is the best method of relaxation. It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart. In fact through singing children learn to express their feelings and ideas. To bring out the singing talent of the students “Interhouse Hindi Solo Singing Competition” was organized at Singhania Educational Institute on May 10, 2023.

Students of class I to XII participated in the competition. Each Student prepared a Hindi song. The children sang the songs with lot of passion, confidence and patriotic feeling. The melodious songs pulled the heartstrings of the audience. Each student showed their mastery over voice modulation, pitch, rhythm and tone. The children showcased a sense of pride, self-esteem and self-confidence as a result of the competition.

RAIN DANCE (MAY-2023)

To beat the heat of the summer a “Rain Dance Party” was held on 6-5-2023(Saturday).

All the tiny tots were looking winsome in their swimming costumes with their colourful umbrellas.

The Little rock stars of Pre-Primary danced to the thrilling music which infused the atmosphere with energy and fun.

Rain brings happiness and smile and so did the Rain Dance Party.

SEED GERMINATION(APRIL-2023)

“For a better tomorrow plant more trees and make this planet a better place to live in.”

Students of Pre primary enjoyed seed germination activity as a part of their experiential learning.

They filled tiny pots with soil, sowed the seeds & watered it.

They were also told about the essential things needed for the growth of plants i.e., sunlight, air & water.They were encouraged to save & grow more trees so as to keep our environment green.

RED DAY (APRIL-2023)

The Pre Primary section of SEI celebrated ‘Red Day’ on 28th April, 2023 to introduce children into the mesmerizing realm of colours.

Red colour symbolizes enthusiasm, life and vitality.The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits.The shades of red made our tiny tots feel bright, lively and cheerful.

It was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to sort and classify objects based on colours there by reinforcing cognitive skills.

It was a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness, joy, love and happiness.

SALAD ACTIVITY (April - 2023)

” EAT CLEAN AND GREEN”

Salad is a multi flavored and colorful way to good health. However, feeding children adequate amounts of raw veggies is a challenge since children tend to be picky eaters. So first, to make them aware of how much veggies children need daily, SEI organized SALAD Party for the students of Pre-primary wing.

RANGOLI COMPETITION (April - 2023)

“Imagination is the spark that ignites the fire of creativity.”

Rangoli is a traditional form that brightens up an occasion and is believed to be harbinger of good luck. Rangoli is the fine art of beautiful patterns. Keeping this in mind, SEI organized Inter-House “Rangoli making competition” on April 21,2023.

Beautiful patterns were created on the floor using coloured rice, flowers, colour sand or paints.

Mehandi is the traditional art of painting the hands, feet or body with intricate designs.In the different cultures where the practice of Mehandi flourished, different styles and ways of designing developed.
It has now become an intriguing part of our culture and holds great importance in Indian rituals and ceremonies.

To ensure its significance SEI organized “Mehandi Competition ” in the school premises on April 18,2023.

The “Children’s Day” celebration at SEI began with the special assembly dedicated to students by the teachers.The assembly was followed by Principal sir’s address highlighting the significance of this day.

The soft hues and beautiful spectrum of the color pink was celebrated as “Pink Color Day” at the SEI premises on August 27,2022.

A wordwall is a collection of words which are displayed in large visible letters on a wall in a classroom.
The facilitators of pre-primary wing of SEI organized a “Wordwall Competition” on July 29, 2022. It proved as an interactive tool for the little kids where they learnt variety of words based on different themes.

SEI witnessed a never seen competition on July 28, 2022 where comedians tried to compete with their jokes. It was all about who could make you laugh the hardest. And the best part is that you will be the final judge in this competition as they made everyone laugh aloud.

On May 19, 2022, a “Prize Distribution Ceremony” was arranged in our school auditorium. To make this event successful, a lot of arrangements were made both by students and teachers.
The victorious students in various fields such as solo singing, debate competition, tennikoit tournament and table tennis were rewarded with medals and certificates.
The awards were presented by the honourable dignitaries Mr.O.P. Singhania (Chairman of SEI group), Mr. Ashish Singhania (Vice-Chairman of SEI group) and Mr.Parikshit Tripathi (Secretary of SEI group).They congratulated the achievers for their success.
The show concluded with the valuable words from our respected Principal sir followed by vote of thanks. The students felt confident and motivated.”
